Food questions – Carbs
(The answers to all these questions, and many more, are in
"Stop Counting Calories & Start Losing weight: The Harcombe Diet").

Q)    Why are carbohydrates the baddies?
Q)    How do I know what is a processed food and what isn’t?
Q)    What about potatoes – good or bad?
Q)    Pasta vs rice?
Q)    Why is sugar the number one baddie?
Q)    Can I have sweet corn?
Q) I just have a quick question. There are a few terms we don't see in America much – what are pulses, for example?
Q)    Tinned tomatoes – are these OK?
Q)    As a snack can I have "vegetable crisps" which contain sweet potato?
Q)    Is there any way I can have chips?
Q)     In two days time I'll be moving onto Phase 2, and I'm really looking forward to eating fruit again. I'm concerned with the 'no vegetable juices allowed' rule. I make my own juices and don't know if I'll be able to cope without my carrot, celery, cucumber and apple juice, or even my strawberry, blueberry, banana and orange juice, which I mix with live yoghurt for a fab breakfast. Do I have to ban them?
