Q) Can I have sweeteners/sugar substitutes?
Q) My husband won’t stop using honey – is this OK?
Q) I chew sugar-free gum and it says on the packet that it is high in carbs, but that the carbs are “sugars 0%” and “polyols 100%”. What are polyols and where do they fit in with refined/unrefined carbs?
Q) Can I put balsamic or other vinegar on salads?
Q) Can I use stock cubes?
Q) Can we use corn flour for thickening?
Q) Is OK to take painkillers? I had an horrendous headache for two days (caffeine withdrawal?) and in the end gave in to paracetamol. Was that OK?
